Upgraded Theragun Pro and Mini are quieter and lighter than previous versions

Therabody has announced a raft of eight new product innovations at the same time as closing an equity round of US$165m. Among these are the all-new Theragun Pro and Mini percussive therapy devices which offer a significant upgrade on the previous models.

The improved Theragun Pro (£549, US$580) uses a proprietary EQ-140 motor that is 20 percent quieter than the existing version. A colour OLED screen also displays routines to help users optimise their treatment time. Used by athletes as well as the everyday gym member, it enhances muscle recovery and relieves discomfort.

The Theragun Mini (£175, US$186) has been transformed into a device that is now 20 percent smaller and 30 per cent lighter than the last model. Now featuring 12mm of amplitude, it is smaller yet powerful and, like the Theragun Pro, connects via Bluetooth to the Therabody app giving access to a curated library of wellness routines.

“We believe that wellness should be accessible to everybody with innovative, personalised products that are backed by science,” said Benjamin Nazarian, CEO of Therabody. “Consumers are focusing on their wellness more than ever.”
